Over the course of a couple of months, I tore through this particular series about three or four times, never skipping a book, starting with this one. I had read only a couple M/M/M novels prior to this one, but I never found them off-putting like some reviewers have.The fact that three people can come together and find with each other what two people do doesn't disgust me in the least. Who am I to judge?Back to the book-- I -loved- it. As it stands, there isn't a one book that I'd find weak or unmemorable. This erstwhile step into Kennedy's world of globetrotting vigilantes was riveting from start to finish, touting three men adrift in the mire of their own losses, coming together and making each other whole and happier than they would have been alone.It's a tad triggering, but perhaps that's what makes the HEA satisfying. And knowing there are eleven+ books after it makes for a real adventure in heart-pounding storytelling and dare I say steamy interludes.If you're not a fan of MMM romances, read ahead on the blurbs and make sure that's not what you're picking up. Rating a work low because of a hangup instead of the merits/downfalls of a story makes little sense.It'd be like rating a chef's creme brulee poorly because you just don't like creme brulee. If that's the case, order a different dessert and move on.
